Thanks for reading my long winded rantings about how I want to be a vampire but cant. I read somewhere that if I go rent the game w/o shivering isles and finish the quests on that It will bypass any bugs, but what i want to know is if I become a vampire and then switch back to Goty edition will this happen again? Please let me know if anyone has had this problem before and how they fixed it. the door watchman for the quest where i have to kill everyone at the party. Baccicaly what happens is as soon as I turn in the quest virtualy all of the npcs dissapear which is kinda cool but devistating to gameplay since most npcs I need for quests are gone ie. I tried starting a new game and never asking him about vamparism but that does not solve the problem. Im trying to get through all of the dark brotherhood quests but once i complete the last quest from the vampire dude the bug unleases its ugly head if i become a vampire or not. I have the Goty edition and from what ive read the shivering isles makes a whole new set of problems. It seems that the vampire bug is fairly common but mine doesn't seem to be.

Has anyone encountered this but on the PS3 or 360 version and found a way around it? I have 3 game saves but I am infected in all of them, therefore I am screwed if I cannot get the cure quest to work.

After doing some reading I have found that this is in fact a bug in the game but was patched in the PC version, which doesnt help me at all.
No matter what I do she will not accept it. I have tried restarting the quest, dropping all of my bloodgrass and getting more, buying the bloodgrass, harvesting the bloodgrass and duplicating the bloodgrass. She needs two shoots of bloodgrass but no matter how many I have in my inventory she will not take them. I have completed the three tasks and have also brought her 2 of the three ingredients, the last of which I need to give her is Bloodgrass. The quest is not a hard quest when everything works properly but I found one little issue that has me a little upset.įor this quest you need to do 3 things for a witch type lady and bring her 3 different ingredients for the cure. Turns out Vampirism is pretty cool at first, it makes you faster and gives you some pretty useful skills.Īfter a while I decided that getting hurt in the sunlight was just to much of a PITA to deal with so I started the cure for vampirism quest. I contracted the disease off of him and decided that I would try it out and see what it is like.
